Commonwealth Games
12:00pm - Thanks for joining us today. Join us again tomorrow at 9am, when the race walkers, including Kiwi Quentin Rew, get us off to an early start.
Commonwealth Games: Kiwis in Action, April 8 (Day Four)
11:52pm - The Tall Blacks are still ahead of Australia (40-35) in basketball pool play, with Shea Ili's 10 points leading the way.
Jo Edwards will meet South African Colleen Piketh in her bowls semi-final tomorrow, and we're still waiting for Joelle King and Paul Coll to take the court for their squash quarter-finals tonight.
King is now two hours behind schedule for her match. We may have to catch up on those results in the morning.
11:44pm - And Pascoe is unchallenged for the gold medal, adding New Zealand's second in just a few moments. That should help us up the medal table.
Her time is 2m 27.72s, about half a second slower than her hear earlier today, but still four seconds clear of Canadian Aurelie Rivard.
11:42pm - NZ flagbearer Sophie Pascoe is in the pool for her para 200m medley final. She takes an early lead through the butterfly leg and is extending it through backstroke.
11:39pm - In Cairns, the Tall Blacks are ahead of Australia 37-31 late in the second quarter. Remember these two teams met for the gold medal in 2006, with the Boomers prevailing.
11:37pm - In fact, Edwards wins 21-9 and is through to tomorrow's semis, but she's still waiting to learn who she faces there.
11:29pm - The men's pair are out of medal contention at the bowls, with Shannon McIlroy and Blake Signal losing their quarter-final to Wales 20-7.
But Jo Edwards seems safely through to the semis in the women's singles - she's 20-9 up over Emma Firyana Saroji of Malaysia.
